Inside Bran Castle |
Thursday morning we headed off to Bran Castle and some shopping for Sarah Grace. Then, we had a great time with Gyula, Marta, Kinga, and Margaret. Marta prepared the best lamb in the world--as she always does. Spent the afternoon with them.
Gyula gave us a ride to the Rab family: Tamas, Szilvia, Joshua, Dominick, and Simon. They visited with us last February in the States. We had a great time. They are very involved with Otto and Elisabeth in the work in the Sacele and Pucaresti area. Tamas prepared trout! Did I die and go to heaven. Marta's lamb and Tamas' trout on the same day. Can you say stuffed but happy!
We returned to Otto and Elisabeth's as we waited to head to Bucharest for our flight. We talked of a nap but we had a great time just visiting with Otto and Elisabeth until after midnight. We took showers, quick naps, and headed for Bucharest a little after 2 AM.
At 7:10 AM, KLM was taking us to Amsterdam. There Bonnie and Sarah Grace headed for Detriot and home. I made a left turn and headed for Tanzania. We said our goodbyes until September 12. Not funny, but Bonnie and Sarah Grace were delayed in Detroit. I had flown to Dar Es Salaam and had a night's sleep before they made it to Greenville.
We had a great camp and a real blessing was having Sarah Grace to share it with us.
