Apalina: VBS and WORSHIP

The partnership with Leesburg Community Church is in its third year.   This year, they lead in a youth camp at Harghita Christian Camp.   This week was the challenge for Jason, Alyssa, and Jenny.  They were leading a VBS for the Apalina children (over 250 per day).   Plus at night there were youth meetings, worship services, and other children's meetings.   They did a great job.  They leave Reghin Sunday morning around 2 AM for Cluj airport to fly home.

We had a dual purpose prayer time Friday night.  Saying goodbye to the Leesburg team and praying for the camps at Sibiu.   Echos of “Bonnie” were heard as we arrived in Apalina.   Jason brought the message translated by Attila.  Because of the mixture of Hungarian and Romanian speaking Roma (Gypsies) in the Apalina church, Jason preached and then a Romanian Translator summarized Jason's message for the congregation.
