SUNDAY: Worship, Sunday Dinner, and Coldstone Creamery

Bernard picked up and Tom and me from the Kentmere Club and we headed off to Koinonia for worship.   We had a great celebration of worship.  Bonaface began worship reading and sharing from Exodus about Israetes and Moses at the Red Sea Crossing (God is awesome.  My message today included an illustration from the same event.)  Then the praise team led us in a time of meditation and prayer.   Robert shared with the church the opportunity of service and discipleship.  Then, he called up Tom who shared greetings from his family to the church.   Bernard shared about Tom and me.  Then, I preached on Hope.  I met so many of my old friends.  Continue to be blessed by how the children have become young adults faithful to the Lord.

After worship and meeting everyone, around 3PM we headed for our usual Sunday dinner at the Java House.  We had a great time talking, laughing, and sharing.    After the Java House some of us walked to ColdStone Creamery, where Tom treated us to ice cream.   It was great.    Tom and got back to the Kenmer around 7:30.   The internet connection was slow.   Tom got to experience one of the joys of traveling here--a frustratingly slow internet.   Did I mention one part of the message today was about patience.   So, with slow internet, the blog is brief.

Tomorrow we head for Nyeri and to visit the property of dreams.   Pray for us as we travel.   Also, pray as we introduce Tom to Nyama Choma--goat roasted over a wood fire--outstandingly delicious.
