The Safari to Iringa Begins

On Saturday, the team divided into two groups for the trip to Iringa. The newbies rode with Mpeli and Floyd driving the 10 hour safari from Dar to Iringa. The "second timers" plus Jack traveled by plane the 1 hour and 20 minutes from Dar to Iringa. Bonnie and Neema greeted the flyers at the Iringa airport, gave them breakfast, and put them work. The removed the old windows from the dining hall to be replaced by Aluminum windows.

The Newbies loaded up at 5 AM and headed out of dar. First stop, Kobil Station at Chalinze for breakfast. We traveled through Mikumi National Park seeing giraffe, zebra, wildebeast, cape buffalo, elephants, antelopes, wart hogs, etc. Then lunch at a new hotel/restaurant, Vamos, for a delicious buffet.

Once the newbies arrived at Daily Breach Life--one of the undescribeable experiences in life--the welcome by the children, youth, and staff of DBLCH. Man, what a blessing!
