First Day in Tanzania
Last time that I was in Dar Es Salaam spending the night, the hotel had a bar playing loud music. Last night, the hotel had a church for a neighbor. The preaching was loud, shouting, and continued until way into the morning with music as well. The team left for Iringa around 6 am.
As usual we saw several very bad accidents along the journey. During the Mikumi part of the drive, we saw elephants, giraffe, cape buffalo, antelope, zebra, baboons, wilderbeast, and wart hogs. This was great since Alex had never been to Tanzania.
The children at Daily Bread Life greeted us very warmly. Then as a surprise to me, they had a birthday cake prepared and we celebrated together.
The Bread of Life Secondary School opened on Thursday. We rode out to the school to meet the students. You could see it good distance away with the new solar light bulbs. The students greeted us and headed off for dinner. The BLSS is now a boarding school. We are all excited to see it happening.
Slow internet tonight. We will try pictures tomorrow. Thank you for your prayers, Floyd
