Birthday, Anniversary, and Celebration

Today was Attila’s Birthday. Usually he goes and celebrates his birthday with the people of Apalina. But, last year it was a hugh party and he decided that it had become to big. This year we celebrated with Zoltan, Abigail, Gerzon, and Zalan Dohi. Zoltan and Abigail are working with the Gypsy (Roma) people in the village of Glodeni—the village is not far from Gornesti. A small church group has started. Children from this village were at the second week of the Gypsy Children’s Camp this summer.

Zoltan and Abigail celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary today. Floyd and Bonnie participated in their wedding. We celebrated their anniversary and Attila’s birthday having lunch together at their home. Abigail is a good cook.

After spending the afternoon, laughing together and talking together—especially with Attila about his upcoming marriage to Adele. Zoltan and Floyd gave him great advice??!

Tonight we were together with the Peris mission group. It has been over one year since we were with them. They are growing and this is exciting. During the singing time a new song was introduced to the group (not by Bonnie and I), “We walking to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion.”
After the worship and prayer, we were treated to a wonderful supper.

The great news of the day was that Bonnie’s suitcase arrived at 9:45 PM at Targu Mures Airport from Bucharest. We are celebrating that Bonnie’s clothes have arrived.

Tomorrow Attila and Floyd go to purchase the food for the men to prepare for the women’s conference on Saturday—Pray people, pray—and we will worship at night with the Apalina Roma (Gypsy) church. Seriously, please pray for Bonnie as she leads the conference, the women who come, and for the men who prepare the food—all will glorify the Lord.
